Golf Fans Loved Watching Tiger Woods Skip His Ball Through the Water Monday at the Masters

Tiger Woods is back at the Masters.

Tiger Woods is back at the Masters, and he’s already wowing golf fans during Monday’s practice round.

It’s become a tradition for golfers to attempt skipping their ball across the water on par-3, 16th hole. Golfers in recent years, like Jon Rahm and Jordan Spieth, have gone viral for their successful skips. It was only fitting that Woods would add his spin on this trend to get golf fans even more excited for his Masters run this week.

Woods and Will Zalatoris skipped their golf balls across the water in sync, which golf fans loved even more to watch.

Fans were happy to see Woods back on the course, too, as he has not played since withdrawing from the Genesis Invitational during the second round on Feb. 16 due to illness.

The crowd watching Woods’s practice round at Augusta National was electric as he skipped the ball across the water. That excitement for Woods’s shot carried over to social media, as fans were happy to see Woods back on the course. Check out some of the reactions.

Saw the skipping tradition in person with my dad at a practice round years ago. One of the coolest things I’ve ever seen. Greatest place on Earth https://t.co/POesrcf2HdiN
