The NFL season officially kicks off Sunday, with seven games kicking off at 1pm, followed by six more later in the day.

Sunday’s games are being broadcast on FOX and CBS, with the exception of the 8:20pm game between Pittsburgh and New England that happens on NBC (Monday’s games happen on ESPN). You cancheck out the full schedule broken down by game and network here.

The good news is that all those games are being broadcast on traditional local networks, so if you have a television and a digital antenna you should be able to catch a lot of things on your television for free. And if you are a cable subscriber you should be able to stream those channels as well for no charge using your cable login.

Most of the major streaming services offer access to FOX and CBS. All of them also offer free trials, so if you haven’t tried them before you can give them a test drive and catch the race for free in the process.

Before you sign up you’ll want to check and make sure that both FOX and CBS are offered through the service in your area. While all of them offer both networks, not every streaming service offers access to both networks in every market.
